Terpfusion CBD

What sets Terpfusion apart from every other Full Spectrum CBD tincture is that they are infused with Terpenes. These terpenes are essential oils derived from the cannabis plant that, when combined with a full spectrum tincture, amplify certain effects sought after by CBD consumers.

CBD stands for Cannabidiol, which is one of 104 cannabinoids that have been identified in hemp or cannabis. CBD is the second most prominent cannabinoid found in cannabis, Δ9-THC being the first.  CBD lacks the cannabis-like intoxicating properties of Δ9-THC and, for this reason, has been traditionally considered non-psychoactive.

Pure Hemp Botanicals’ products contain up to 0.3% THC. The THC amount varies depending on product suggested dosage. Therefore, there is a possibility that with repeated consumption, the product could trigger a positive test.

Generally, any product that has THC in it has the potential to show up on a test, especially with repeated, daily use.

The “Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018,” aka the Farm Bill of 2018, legalizes industrial hemp that has a THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, the psychoactive component of marijuana) concentration of no more than 0.3% by removing it from schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act. Read the Farm Bill here. Page 1006 explains the amendment to the CSA.

CBD contains no psychoactive properties, therefore, there is no “high” feeling.

The products offered on our site must meet certain standards. They  need to be 3rd party lab tested, 100% Natural, and derived from organically grown industrial hemp. Other criteria may apply.

  • There are many differences between hemp and marijuana,  from physical characteristics to chemical makeup. The biggest distinction between hemp and marijuana, however, is the amount of THC produced by the two plants.
  • Hemp is explained in the “Agricultural Improvement Act of 2018” as “the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.”
  • Part of the same species, marijuana is considered the plant Cannabis sativa L. with a delta-9 THC concentration of more than 0.3%. Usually, marijuana yields anywhere from 5%-30% of THC on a dry weight basis.
  • The Cannabis sativa L. hemp plant contains over 60 natural phytocannabinoids, such as CBD, THC, CBG, and CBN. It also has over 100 different terpenes that “display unique therapeutic effects that may contribute meaningfully to the entourage effects of cannabis-based extracts.”
  • Therefore, An isolate is a pure CBD extract containing no other cannabinoids, terpenes, essential oils or phytonutrients other than Cannabidiol (CBD).
  • A full spectrum blend strives to extract all vital nutrients from the full plant to include more phytocannabinoids and terpenes which work synergistically to yield greater benefits and efficacy. This is referred to as the ‘entourage effect’, whereby the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
  • The endocannabinoid system is a naturally occurring communication network that plays a role in many physiological processes. Currently, this system has been found to be implicated in gastrointestinal (GI) function, appetite and metabolism, pain, memory, movement, immunity, and inflammation.
  • The endocannabinoid system is comprised of two cannabinoid receptors: CB1 and CB2. CB1 is concentrated in the central and peripheral nervous systems (brain and spine), while CB2 is more abundant in the immune system.

Nano CBD is an isolate with all terpenes and other phytonutrients removed during the extraction process. The CBD compounds are surrounded with a coating of microscopic balls of fat. These nano-balls are liposomes built of phospholipids, the same elements you’ll find in cell membranes. The liposomes act like ball bearings slipping the CBD into your blood system more quickly and potently. This process leads to a substantial increase in bioavailability, the amount of a compound (cannabinoid) your body actually absorbs.
